Sylvia:

All ethnicities. Female. 20 to 29 years old Physically Sylvia is frail but powerful. With her eyes, she can float you or sink you. Sylvia is removed from normality; charm, conformity, and manners are of no concern to her. At the same time, we can not help but love her and envy her freeness. Sylvia is a sex worker, with her profession, she has plenty of money to move out of the apartment, but her partner James, a struggling photographer, is too broke. She sees this as a way that James is keeping her captive, at the same time they use the lease as an excuse to extend their codependency.

(There will be implied nudity: first, in a bathtub scene together we would be using bubbles so the actors could wear nude garments underneath. The other would be in a bed under sheets (the couple would be relaxing, not acting in a sexual scene) where they could wear whatever they feel comfortable in with legs and arms showing out of the sheet. LEAD)

James:

All ethnicities. Male. 20 to 29 years old, James is kind, but kind out of reflex and does not always mean it. He loves Sylvia, but he wants her to love him his way. Throughout the film, we can't determine if James wants Sylvia to love him, or if he can't handle the thought of her not loving him.
