ATLANTA AUDITIONS FOR ‘DON’T CALL ME BROTHER!’

Jeanette Hill’s award-winning play ‘Don’t Call Me Brother!’ explores the internal and external battle of a recently promoted man who holds the dual citizenship of being an African American and in law enforcement. His dilemma is exacerbated when an African American youth is killed by a white police officer.

There will be up to 20 rehearsals culminating in one performance at the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival., main stage on October 7, 2017.

Paid roles, non-Equity.

• A recent head shot

• Acting resume

• Preferred method of contact/contact info

• YouTube video monologue based on below criteria

Women –

• Character Margeaux - Please submit a monologue with a privileged Southern Belle dialect - drama

Men –

• Character Andrew - Drama monologue

• Character Hassan – Intense monologue (Black Panther type)

Final Call Backs – August 10th – (IN PERSON) must be avail. – 7:00pm-9:00pm
