An actor's professionalism is just as important as their acting abilities. Submitting acting profile materials to a project can be very exciting for new and experienced actors. The actor's resume, demo reel and head-shot are marketing tools designed to showcase the Actor's look, talents, abilities, and skills.
So Actors, you want to make certain that your presentation style gets attention from Casting directors. Poorly written email submissions, poorly formatted resumes, selfies as head-shots, and your lack to follow instructions before the audition, are a few attributes that display your lack of professionalism. You diminish your chances of getting an audition invitation.
Professionalism includes professional marketing materials; a properly formatted and current resume and a current professional head-shot. Remember Actors, when you look good, Casting Directors look good to the Director. We're on your side. so bring your A-game before and during the audition!
Much success--get the audition and the role!
